Services
If you:
- are frustrated after hours of
unsuccessful searching on the Internet
- or simply want a
suggestion of a good text,
UCC Library & Information
Centre is the place to start. Our friendly, helpful staff can answer
your questions at the library by telephone or email.
Internet
Access
The Library provides free Internet access to any
member of the UCC who agrees to abide by its codes & conducts.
Work/Study
Station
Work stations are available in
both sections of the Library. It works on a first come first served
basis, with no reservations.
Reserves
If
the Library owns a book, video or CD that you would like to borrow, we
can put it on reserve especially for you. If another person is presently
using the item, we will call you when it's your turn. Telephone or
visit either library, or e-mail us with your requests
at(asklibrary@ucc.edu.jm).
We welcome your suggestions for the
purchase of library materials that will enhance our collection. Please fill
out a Book Suggestion form at the Front Desk, or e-mail us with your
suggestion at asklibrary@ucc.edu.jm. If the library buys the item, we will be sure to reserve it
for you and notify when it's available.
Loan Renewals
As
long as the item is not being held for another patron, we can extend
your loan for 14 days.
Membership
Membership forms are
available FREE at the front desk.
You will need to show at least
one piece of valid identification along with your pass card.
